Iberia, the flag carrier airline of Spain is now making available the BCBP- Bar Coded Boarding Pass service to all its passengers. Iberia proposes BCBP- Bar Coded Boarding Pass since 3rd December 2009. Hence all passengers departing from London Heathrow will have the chance to benefit from Iberia BCBP- Bar Coded Boarding Pass. Hence any passenger taking off from London Heathrow will have the possibility to print their own Boarding Pass at the Paddington train station in London. Moreover BCBP- Bar Coded Boarding Pass the new service proposed by Iberia will also be able to print their own Boarding Pass by themselves and have a look at their flight information before going on to their airport.

The twelfth update of the Community’s list of airlines banned in the European Union has been published by the European Commission on Friday 27th November 2009. The eleventh update was published by European Union on 14th July 2009. Hence with the latest update of the European Commission there are 228 Airlines banned in the European Union. These 228 Airlines banned to fly in the European Union approved by the European Commission are based in 15 countries in total. In other words the countries in which the blacklisted airlines are based are Angola, Benin, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Liberia, Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Sao Tome and Principe, Swaziland and Zambia. However there are airlines such as TAAG Angola Airlines, Air Astana, Gabon Airlines, Afrijet, SN2AG, Air Bangladesh, Air Service Comores and Ukrainian Mediterranean Airlines are not included in “Black List of Companies in November 2009″. Nevertheless the 8 airlines not included in the Blacklist mentioned above are allowed to operate under restrictions and conditions.

SWISS the Switzerland based airline is now making available flight to London Heathrow to all its passengers. However SWISS flight to London Heathrow will be effective as from 10th January 2010. Moreover the flight to London Heathrow proposed by SWISS will be departing from Geneva. SWISS flight to London Heathrow taking off from Geneva will be provided to all its passengers with a 6 daily flight. In addition SWISS flight to London Heathrow taking off from Geneva will be operated on the aircraft of SWISS, the Airbus A320. Nevertheless the flight to London Heathrow departing from Geneva proposed by SWISS will be operated under a code share agreement with BMI.
