The low cost airline based in Ireland, Ryanair announced since 29th July 2009 that it will serve 39 new roundtrip destinations to Canary Islands as from October 2009. Ryanair roundtrip to Canary Islands will thus offer to its passengers 16 new destinations to Gran Canaria, 15 new destinations to Lanzarote and 8 new destinations to Tenerife. Ryanair new roundtrip flights to Canary Islands will propose more low fares, more competition and also more passengers for the Canary Islands. These new destinations to the Canary Islands will bring 2 million new passengers and create 2,000 new jobs.

Jet Airways the airline based in Mumbai will be proposing new flights between Mumbai and Riyadh as from 6th August 2009. Jet Airways to Riyadh flights will be operated on the Boeing 737-800 of Jet Airways. Jet Airways will operate the flights between Mumbai and Riyadh four times a week. In other words Jet Airways will fly between Mumbai and Riyadh on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Hence on Monday Jet Airways flight between Riyadh and Mumbai will depart from Mumbai at 17.25 to arrive in Riyadh at 19.00 and will thus take off from Riyadh at 20.00 to reach in Mumbai at 02.25. Regarding Jet Airways flight between Mumbai and Riyadh on Tuesday, the flight will take off from Mumbai at 22.30 to arrive in Riyadh at 00.01 and will then depart from Riyadh at 01.00 toreach in Mumbai at 07.25. Moreover Jet Airways flight to Riyadh which will be operated on Thursdays and Satudays will take off from Mumbai at 19.30 to arrive in Riyadh at 21.05 and will then depart from Riyadh at 22.05 to reach in Mumbai at 04.30.

The airline based in Morocco, Royal Air Maroc took delivery of a Boeing 767 long-haul, its 5th for the year 2009. Royal Air Maroc Boeing 767 helps the airline to modernize and develop its fleet. In 2009, Royal Air Maroc has also acquired 3 new Boeing 737-800 and received 3 ATR 72-200 aircraft. Royal Air Maroc will also receive during the month of August 2009 a Boeing 737-300 Freighter to support its freight business. The arrival of these two aircraft allows Royal Air Maroc to have a long-haul fleet of ten aircraft by 2012, with the line of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, which Royal Air Maroc will be among the first companies to use.
