As from 2nd December 2009 the fifth largest airline in the United States, US Airways will start daily non stop flights between its main hub Charlotte Douglas International Airport located in Charlotte and Rio de Janeiro situated in Brazil. US Airways non stop flights to Rio de Janeiro will be the first route that US Airways will operate to the South America. Moreover the daily non stop flights between Charlotte and Rio de Janeiro will be US Airways’ fifth new international route this year.
In addition the daily non stop flights of US Airways between Charlotte and Rio de Janeiro will be operated by the Boeing 767 of US Airways with a seating capacity of 18 in US Airways’ international business class and 186 in the main cabin.
