The International Air Transport Associations (IATA) greets elimination departure tax. The abolition of departure tax was fixed on by the Dutch government. Moreover each traveller departing from whichever Dutch airport have to pay for a tax fee between 11.25 € and 45 €. It was the correct decision of abolishing the departure tax as it would prouve advantageous to the Dutch Economy. In other words the abolition of the departure tax will provide an economic boost in this disaster and therefore and help them in putting up a brilliant and competitive future.

Estonian Air is increasing its flights between Tallinn and Vilnius. These additional flights between Tallinn and Vilnius will be carried out on Friday evening by Estonian Air as from 24th April to 19th June 2009. However, Estonian Air is looking forward to make use of the aircraft SAAB 340, with 33 seats available on these additional flights between Tallinn and Vilnius.

As from 11th June 2009, the low fare airline, AirTran Airways is proposing two daily non stop flights departing from General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Wis. to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C. The introductory fares offered by AirTran Airways for these non stop flights are as from $69. Thus, passengers willing to fly with AirTran Airways on these non stop flights departing from Milwaukee to Washington D.C. should purchase their air tickets by 16th April 2009. However, the introductory fares for these non stop flights between Milwaukee and Washington proposed by AirTran Airways are valid to travel until 25th June 2009.
